"Young England" is the eighth episode of Season One of ITV's Victoria.

There is speculation above and below stairs as to the Queen's surviving child-birth with a predatory heir to the throne, the Duke of Cumberland arriving at court. More confident, Queen Victoria goes for a carriage ride meeting the fanatical but harmless Captain Childers. Albert is annoyed that he was not told about the Captain's regular letters to his wife. During a carriage ride, a man shoots at the young Queen and Prince Consort. Albert saves Victoria from a gun attack a young man named Edward Oxford, a member of the Young England party, to which the Duke of Cumberland is suspected of having links. Some days later, Victoria gives birth to a daughter, later named Victoria, whilst Ernest fights his feelings for the Duchess of Sutherland and Miss. Skerrett regrets not leaving with Mr. Francatelli to open his own bakers shop.
